The annual Billy Neill Charity Match organised by 1st Newtownabbey Linfield Supporters Club took place on Sunday 26 October at The Diamond Playing Fields in Rathcoole.

The 1st Newtownabbey Select side was led by Lee Doherty and took on an Irish League Select side led by Mark Snodden. And it was Lee’s side who ran out winners by 4-1 on a day when the weather wasn’t great but the action on the pitch did not disappoint.

The match raised vital funds for the David James Richmond Foundation, a local charity doing great things for the wider community.
