Linfield complete their pre-season fixtures by travelling to East Belfast to meet PLAYR-FIT Championship side H&W Welders at The Blanchflower Stadium (7.30pm k.o.). 

The Welders have recorded some notable pre-season results with wins at Glenavon (4-1) and at home to Loughgall (4-3). Manager Paul Kee and his players will be looking to push on from last season's 7th place finish – up front The Welders can call upon the experience of David Parkhouse whose CV includes spells at Derry City, Ballymena United and Cliftonville. 

As the new NIFL Premiership season looms, David Healy will take another opportunity to fine tune his squad ahead of another long and challenging campaign. It promises to be a friendly yet competitive night of football at the Blanchflower Stadium.
