Matchday 10 of the Sports Direct Premiership sees Linfield meet Glentoran at Windsor Park in the first 'Big Two' game of the season  (7.45pm k.o.).

Glentoran come to Windsor in inconsistent form after a busy close season at The Oval when manager Declan Devine was confirmed as boss and appointed former Northern Ireland international Pat McCourt as his assistant. In addition, a raft of experienced players left the East Belfast outfit during the close season, making way for the arrival of Dylan Connolly, Frankie Hvid and Wassim Aouchira, among others.

Linfield this week began their defence of the BetMcLean Cup with a 3-0 win at Dundela in a thoroughly professional display, with plenty of positives including a first senior goal for Charlie Allen.

Linfield go into this much anticipated derby game in good form and determined to extend their lead at the top of the table. It promises to be another high octane 90 minutes of football under the Windsor Park floodlights.
