BOXING DAY DERBY: LINFIELD V GLENTORAN

Linfield FC hosted a successful supporter engagement session last night (24 September) at the Raven Linfield Supporters Social Club in East Belfast, as part of the club’s ongoing commitment to strengthening communication and collaboration with its fanbase.

The event — organised with the support of Commercial Director Paul White — provided an open forum for discussion and updates on a range of key topics relating to the club’s operations, future plans, and strategic direction.

Several members of the Linfield Board of Directors were in attendance, including Roy McGivern, Paul White, Stephen Shaw, Stuart Gilmore, Ronnie Morrison and Michael Foster. Each took the opportunity to speak about their respective areas of responsibility, offering insights into developments within commercial and marketing, the ongoing investment process, and the day-to-day running of the club.

The evening was well received by supporters, who were able to put forward questions, share ideas, and engage in constructive dialogue with club officials. The event marks the first in a series of planned supporter engagement sessions designed to foster closer relationships between Linfield FC and its loyal fanbase.

Speaking after the event, Commercial Director Paul White said:

“It was fantastic to spend time with our supporters in East Belfast and have open, honest conversations about where the club is and where we’re heading off the pitch. Events like this are hugely valuable for us as a Board, and we’re committed to making them a regular part of how we engage with fans. I would like to thank the Raven LSC for kindly hosting the first of these events.”

Linfield FC is planning further engagement evenings in the weeks ahead, with the next event scheduled to take place in Lisburn on Monday 29 September. The club encourages all supporters to attend and be part of the ongoing conversation about the future of Linfield.
