Linfield defender Sean Brown has received a call-up to the Northern Ireland Under-21 squad ahead of their upcoming UEFA European Championship qualifiers against Malta and Germany at The Oval.
The promising young defender will link up with several familiar faces in the U21 camp, including former Linfield players Ceadach O’Neill, Cole Brannigan and Liam McStravick, as Northern Ireland aim to strengthen their position in the qualification campaign.
Brown’s selection is the latest example of Linfield’s strong record in developing international-calibre talent. That influence extends beyond the U21 level, with the club also boasting significant representation in the Northern Ireland Under-17 squad.
Rising stars Finlay Ross and Charlie Campbell have both earned call-ups for the U17s’ forthcoming fixtures against USA and Portugal in Spain, underlining the club’s continued contribution to the national setup at all age levels.
