A competitive first half finished goalless and was a foretaste of what was to come in the second period.

Charlie Allen drove into the Cliftonville box and fired off a shot to open the scoring before a delicate Chris McKee chip found its way into the net from a tight angle. The final goal of the game came from a Matt Yates shot from 25 yards.

The Swifts are in action again on Saturday in the McComb’s Coach Travel Intermediate Cup when they face Newtowne FC at Midgley Park.
