Linfield are on the road, heading north to face Larne at Inver Park (7.45pm k.o. all-ticket). This is the first meeting of the season between the clubs and the game will be live streamed on the BBC iPlayer. 

Larne sit in pole position in the Sports Direct Premiership table and have struck a rich vein of form, winning their last 5 league games on-the-bounce. However in their most recent outing they lost 0-2 to Ballymena United at The Showgrounds in the BetMcLean Cup. Manager Gary Haveron will look for a reaction from his players as they focus on strengthening their hold on top spot.

Linfield were also in midweek BetMcLean Cup action, edging past a resilient Newry City side 3-2 at The Showgrounds. David Healy’s men will need to bring their ‘A game’ to Larne for what is sure to be a hugely competitive 90 minutes under the Inver Park floodlights. A massive night of football for both teams as they strive to underline their title credentials.
