It was a case of six of the best for Linfield Rangers as they saw off Glenavon U18s in the quarter final of the Harry Cavan Youth Cup. And, but for the efforts of the visitors’ goalkeeper, the score could easily have reached double figures.

First half goals from Oliver Wade, Stephen Kelly and Harry Allen were followed in the second period by another for Kelly, a header from substitute Odhran McClean and a long range shot from Donatas Jermakovas.

Manager Jamie Mulgrew now awaits the semi final draw where one from Larne, Coleraine and Ballinamallard Utd will be the opposition.
