NEXT GAME: CARRICK RANGERS V LINFIELD
📅 FRI 20 MAR ⌚ 7.45PM KO 📍 TAYLORS AVENUE

Linfield make the trip to Taylor’s Avenue on Friday night to face Carrick Rangers in their final pre-split fixture of the Sports Direct Premiership season (7:45pm kick-off, cash gate available).

The sides last met at this venue in January, when a tight encounter ended in a goalless draw, and another competitive battle is expected under the lights.

Carrick Rangers currently sit 7th in the table and have enjoyed a memorable campaign. Their season was highlighted by lifting the Co. Antrim Shield in January, alongside standout results including an impressive 3-2 victory away to Larne at Inver Park. With a European play-off place still within reach, Stephen Baxter’s side will be determined to finish strongly and keep that dream alive.

Linfield, meanwhile, travel in high spirits after their dramatic BetMcLean Cup triumph. Chris McKee’s extra-time penalty sealed victory over Glentoran at Windsor Park, adding more silverware to the club’s illustrious history.

While retaining the Gibson Cup presents a significant challenge in the weeks ahead, David Healy’s men will be focused on building momentum and carrying their cup-winning confidence into the final stretch of the league campaign.

A big performance will be required on the road—but the Blues will be ready.
