Linfield continued their commitment to developing young talent on Saturday as teenagers Finlay Ross and Oliver Wade both made their senior debuts for the club.

Seventeen-year-old Ross and 18-year-old Wade, who have impressed for Linfield Swifts at U20 level, were handed their first-team opportunities against Larne in another proud moment for the club’s academy pathway.

Ross, a Northern Ireland U17 international, has been a standout performer in the Swifts setup and continues to show his potential on the international stage. His progression to the senior squad reflects his hard work and development over recent seasons.

Wade, meanwhile, has also been a consistent presence for the Swifts, earning his chance to step up after a series of strong performances at youth level.
