Linfield supporters club, 1st South Belfast LSC, marked a proud and poignant occasion on Saturday with the unveiling of a new mural in The Village, close to Windsor Park.

The mural, placed in the heartland of the local Linfield community, stands as a tribute to those who made the ultimate sacrifice. Incorporating powerful imagery of the Linfield memorial at Bertrancourt and The Ulster Tower, the artwork serves as a lasting reminder of those who “gave their today for our tomorrow.”

Club President Noel Bailie was in attendance to officially unveil the mural, alongside members of the supporters club and local community who gathered to witness the special moment.

The event also highlighted the continued charitable efforts of 1st South Belfast LSC. The club welcomed Eddie Marcus, who accepted a cheque for £1,100 on behalf of their charity partner, Cancer Fund for Children.

Well done to 1st South Belfast on a superb and meaningful piece now placed in the community.
