Linfield Swifts dominated a first half where five different players scored to make it 5-0 at the break. Kenzie Beattie and Oliver Wade found the net inside the first three minutes, and Harry Allen, Zach Anderson and Jon Graham hit the mark before the half time whistle.

A raft of substitutions followed and it was one of the replacements, Odhran McClean, who scored the only goal of a more even second period.
