NEXT GAME: LINFIELD V GLENTORAN
📅 SAT 21 FEB ⌚ 6PM KO 📍 WINDSOR PARK

Adrian Salem, brother of our late former player Michael Newberry, has been undertaking an extraordinary challenge this month in Michael’s memory, running from St James’ Park to Solitude and on to Windsor Park to raise awareness and funds for men’s mental health.

Michael tragically passed away in 2024, and Adrian hopes to ensure something positive emerges from the loss of his brother by shining a light on mental health and supporting those who may be struggling.

Reflecting on the challenge, Adrian said:

“This run isn’t just about the miles; it’s a heartfelt tribute to his spirit, his laughter, and the incredible moments we shared together. As I lace up my running shoes, I carry with me the memories of our adventures, the lessons he taught me, and the love that will forever bind us. Each step I take will serve as a reminder of his strength and resilience, qualities that continue to inspire me every day.”

Adrian is expected to arrive at Windsor Park at approximately 4pm today, where he will conclude his remarkable 160-mile journey. Everyone is welcome to come along and show their support.
