There was disappointment for the Linfield contingent at the 2024 Victory Shield in Scotland when opponents The Republic of Ireland won Sunday’s title decider 1-0 through a late goal. Captain Calum Anderson was joined in the starting line-up by Finlay Ross and Jay Longridge, while Sonny Trainor and Jack May were again substitutes.
