Linfield Football Club is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of lifelong supporter Jim Martin, who died peacefully on Tuesday night at the age of 88.

Jim was a founding member of the Cavehill Linfield Supporters Club and served with distinction as both Secretary and Chairman over the years. His dedication and service to the Club and the wider Linfield community were unwavering and will long be remembered.

Jim’s legacy continues through his family. His son, Jeff, a former Chairman of the Cavehill LSC, and his grandson, Andrew, the current Chairman, both remain actively involved with the club.

The funeral will take place at 11:00am on Tuesday at Melville Morgan Funeral Home, Ballysillan Road.
