Linfield Football Club is pleased to announce that left-sided defender Dane McCullough has signed a new two-year contract extension, keeping him at Windsor Park until the end of the 2027/28 season.
Dane, who has made 13 appearances so far this campaign, joined the Blues in 2023 following spells with Portadown FC and Burnley. Since arriving at the club, he has grown into a reliable and energetic presence in David Healy’s squad, featuring regularly throughout this season including 10 starts.
Still only 21 years old, Dane has now made 31 appearances for Linfield and will be aiming to build on that momentum as he continues his development over the coming years.
Manager David Healy MBE said:
“I’m delighted to see Dane’s hard work over the past two years rewarded with a new contract. He arrived at the club as a young lad returning from academy football in England, and since then he has gone from strength to strength. His game continues to improve, and his attitude, both in training and around the club, is second to none. We’re very pleased to have him with us for the next two seasons and I’m looking forward to continuing our work together.”
