Linfield D.F.C. Juniors concluded this seasons IFA Disability League campaign on Saturday morning at Avoniel Leisure Centre, with the 12-15 A Team securing their 3rd League Title in a row.
The 7-11s Premiership & Championship leagues were non competitive this season, but both Linfield D.F.C. teams competed well in every game throughout the season with plenty of excellent football on show. Player development was the main focus this season and every player has definitely progressed well, their team spirit though has been the most pleasing aspect throughout the season.
The 12-15s A Team took home the Premiership Title only tasting defeat once all season, making it 3 League Titles in 3 seasons. The B Team playing in the same league as the A Team were impressive from start to finish, picking up excellent results every matchday and finishing in 2nd place behind the A Team.
The 12-15s C Team done themselves proud in the Championship, last season this wee team really struggled for large parts but this season was a lot more enjoyable for them. They managed to pick up at least 1 win in every matchday which is some turnaround in what was a well strengthened Championship League this season.
Congratulations to all Players & Coaches from everyone at Linfield Academy, keep up the good work.
The teams finished the season in the following positions in their respective leagues:
12-15 Year Olds
Linfield D.F.C. A – Premiership Champions

Linfield D.F.C. B – Premiership 2nd Place

Linfield D.F.C. C – Championship 5th Place
