Newly crowned league champions Linfield are on the road for Match 33 of the Sports Direct Premiership, travelling to Co. Tyrone to face Dungannon Swifts (7.45pm k.o. all-ticket). The teams have met twice previously this season with Linfield winning 3-1 at Windsor Park and 1-0 at Stangmore Park.

Swifts have had a season to remember with a place in the top 6 of the table already secured and a semi final in the Clear Water Irish Cup against Bangor to look forward to. One of the most notable success stories this season has been the return to form of striker Andrew Mitchell who returned to the club after an injury ravaged spell at Coleraine.

Linfield lifted league title No. 57 this week after nearest rivals Glentoran and Larne played out a 2-2 draw at The Oval. It has been a  marvellous achievement by David Healy, his staff and players to win the title with 6 games to spare.

The Blues will now look to end their campaign on a high as well as beginning preparations for participation in next season’s UEFA Champions League.
