Former Linfield player Geoff Twentyman was in Belfast last month and paid a visit to Kit Manager Gary Eccles. Geoff played for the Blues in the 1993 title winning season, following in the footsteps of his father, Liverpool Legend Geoff Twentyman Senior, who also played in the Irish League in the 1960s.

Geoff started his playing career in the youth academy at Liverpool and would go on to play for clubs such as Preston North End, Bristol Rovers and Chorely before finishing his career by lifting the Irish League title with Linfield.

Geoff went on to have a stellar career in Sports Journalism with the BBC and would eventually hang up the microphone with BBC Radio Bristol in 2023 after three fantastic decades.
