Linfield travel east on Matchday 17 of the Sports Direct Premiership to face Glentoran under The Oval floodlights (7.45pm k.o. all ticket).

The match will be streamed live on the BBC iPlayer and BBC Sport NI website and is the second meeting of the season between the 'Big Two' – Glentoran recorded a 3-1 win at Windsor Park in early October.

Glentoran have had a challenging league campaign which sees them sit in the bottom half of the table in 7th position and Manager Declan Devine will look for his team to shake off the inconsistent form that has beset them. In their last outing they were beaten 2-0 at home by Portadown.

Linfield produced a disciplined and professional display to secure a single goal win over Larne at Inver Park. The game was decided by a moment of magic from Joel Cooper who, with great precision, engineered the space needed to fire a low drive into the corner of the Larne goal. The Blues have continued to build up momentum to extend their lead at the top of the table to 8 points.

David Healy will demand full points from a physically demanding 90 minutes in a fixture that can often see the form book fly out the window.
