LINFIELD V LOUGHGALL TICKETS

Linfield are in Clearer Water Irish Cup action tonight, travelling to East Belfast to face Glentoran at the BetMcLean Oval in the 6th  Round of the competition (7.45pm k.o. all-ticket). There is full live coverage of the game on the BBC iPlayer. In the last round Linfield defeated Wellington Rec 4-0 at Windsor Park.

Linfield head into this eagerly anticipated 'Big Two' clash in excellent form having won their last 5 games. On Tuesday night The  Blues extended their lead at the top of the table to 19 points after edging past visitors Crusaders in a 2-1 win. New signing Kieran Offord could well find himself making his debut in a blue shirt after his international clearance came through earlier in the week.

Glentoran have also struck a rich vein of form winning their last 6 games over 3 different competitions. Manager Declan Devine has been active during the January transfer window with Joe Thomson (Larne), Christie Pattison (Waterford), Nathaniel Ferris (Loughgall), Shane McEleney and Ciaran Coll (both Derry City) all signing on at the club.

It promises to be another high-octane derby with both sets of supporters desperate to grab those all-important bragging rights! Hopefully it will be The Blues in the hat for the next round draw.

COYB!
