It was a memorable afternoon for two Linfield men as they reached career milestones in the Blues’ progression to the sixth round of the Irish Cup.

Goalkeeper Chris Johns made his 450th Irish League appearance in all competitions, marking the occasion in perfect fashion with a clean sheet as David Healy’s side advanced. Of those 450 appearances, 241 have come in Linfield colours, underlining Chris’s consistency and importance since joining the club.

There was also reason to celebrate for academy graduate Josh Archer, who made his 100th appearance for the club. The 22-year-old midfielder has started 51 of those matches and contributed to 12 goals.

Congratulations to both Chris and Josh on their fantastic achievements.
