Linfield FC Women are delighted to announce the arrival of Northern Ireland international Lilie Woods ahead of the 2026 season.

Woods who has spent the majority of her career at Mid Ulster Ladies including playing a crucial role in their promotion to the Sports Direct Premiership.

Woods also has been recognised at international level at U19 and Senior Level making her senior debut and keeping a clean sheet in a 2-0 away victory over Czech Republic back in July 2023.

In 2024 Lilie made the move to Newcastle United who played in the FA Women’s National League helping them achieve silverware winning the league that season before returning home to Mid Ulster Ladies in the NIWFA Championship before making the switch to Linfield.

After putting pen to paper for Linfield Lilie had this to say, “I’m delighted to sign for Linfield for the 2026 season. This is a great opportunity for me to push on out of my comfort zone and get me back playing in the Premiership with the biggest club in Northern Ireland. I can’t wait to pull on that jersey and give everything I have play for this amazing club!”
