Linfield are in Clearer Water Irish Cup action on Friday night when travelling to the Causeway Coast to face PLAYR-FIT Championship side Limavady United in a 6th Round tie at the Coleraine Showgrounds (7.45 pm k.o. all ticket,). In the last round of the competition Linfield and Limavady recorded home wins over Bangor (1-0) and Lisburn Rangers (4-1) respectively.

Limavady United are setting the pace in the Championship promotion race, 5 points clear at the top of the table. Manager Paul Owens has assembled an experienced squad which includes ex-Linfield midfielders the Lowry brothers Philip and Stephen.

Manager David Healy will utilise his full squad, including recent signings Darragh Leahy and Adam Frizzell, and it promises to be a close competitive game under floodlight between 2 sides in good form. The Blues will look to push on and reach the next round of the competition.
