Linfield Football Club is delighted to announce the signing of Scottish goalkeeper Aidan Glavin following the expiry of his contract with Raith Rovers.

The 21-year-old arrives at Windsor Park as the latest addition to David Healy’s squad ahead of the new season, bringing a mixture of youth and valuable experience from the Scottish game.

Born in Bellshill, Glavin began his development in Scotland and has earned recognition at international level, representing Scotland’s Under-20 side.

Glavin joined Raith Rovers after progressing through the ranks at Kilmarnock where he went on a number of loan-spells to League Two clubs and spent the past season with the Scottish Championship club, continuing his development in a competitive full-time environment.

Linfield manager David Healy welcomed the arrival of the young goalkeeper:

“Aidan is a talented young goalkeeper with a lot of potential. He’s been working hard in a professional environment in Scotland and has shown qualities that we believe can develop further here at Linfield. We’re pleased to bring him to the club and look forward to working with him.”

Everyone at Linfield Football Club would like to welcome Aidan to Windsor Park and wish him every success at the club.
