Linfield Swifts saw off a dogged Glenavon side with 2 goals in each half. An early Rhys Annett penalty gave Michael Gault’s side the lead, with Josh Archer making it 2-0, all within the first 20 minutes. 

Jacob Farr and Annett scored twice within 60 seconds in the second period, with the visitors scoring a consolation from a free kick midway through the half.
