Linfield Swifts have been drawn at home to Newtowne FC in the Second Round of the McComb’s Coach Travel Intermediate Cup.

The Swifts secured their place in Round Two with a hard-fought 1–0 victory over NIFL Premier Intermediate League side Newry City in the opening round, defeating Stuart King’s men at the Newry Showgrounds thanks to a disciplined team performance from the young Blues.

Michael Gault’s side have enjoyed a strong run of form in both league and cup competitions in recent weeks and will be aiming to build on that momentum as they welcome Newtowne to Midgley Park next month.

The tie will take place on Saturday, 15 November 2025, with kick-off at 1:30 pm.
