However, the area is currently facing significant challenges. Ongoing works on the Boyne Bridge, part of the development of the new Belfast Transport Hub, have resulted in reduced footfall and placed additional strain on many local retailers who are already working hard to keep their doors open.

By dedicating this match to the traders of Sandy Row, Linfield FC aims to raise awareness of the difficulties the area is experiencing and to encourage supporters and the wider community to show their backing for the businesses that have supported the club for generations.
