Linfield’s U13 side have made it through to the SuperCupNI final in dramatic fashion after a late comeback and penalty shootout win over Blackburn Rovers in Bushmills.

The young Blues side found themselves down 2-0 at half-time, having lost their captain Ronan Laverty in the warm up. A battling second half performance saw the Blues score a last minute equaliser before going on to win the game 7-6 on penalties after a fine save from Jonas Henderson in sudden death.

Linfield will now play North Belfast rivals Cliftonville in the final tomorrow at the Coleraine Showgrounds with an 11am kick-off.
