Linfield continue their pre-season fixture list with a visit to PLAYR-FIT Championship side Ballyclare Comrades at Dixon Park (3pm k.o.).

The Comrades, under former Carrick Rangers boss Stephen Small, will be targeting a push for promotion to the Premiership on their newly installed artificial pitch. The club was rewarded for their endeavours with the staging of the recent NI WU19 friendly international against Hungary (1-1).

After an aggregate loss of 3-4 in the UEFA Europa Conference League despite a pulsating 3-2 win over UMF Stjarnan at Windsor Park, The Blues will now pack away any disappointment and focus on preparations for the new domestic season ahead.

With such a quick turnaround, David Healy will again utilise his squad with several Swifts players likely to gain some more valuable game time. This policy has already borne fruit with teenage prospect Matthew Orr stepping up from the bench to find the net in Thursday night's European tie.

Another warm welcome away day beckons for The Blues and their supporters.
