Linfield enjoy home advantage on Matchday 20 of the Sports Direct Premiership when welcoming Coleraine to Windsor Park (3pm k.o.). The teams met back in September with Linfield winning 3-0 at The Showgrounds.
Coleraine have had a disappointing league campaign so far and sit 8th in the Premiership table. The introduction of a full time model at the club saw a massive summer exodus and influx of players which, according to manager Dean Shiels, has left his new look side as a ‘work in progress’. Last season's top scorer Matthew Shevlin has made a seemingly seamless transition to full time football, having already scored 13 goals this season.
Linfield and Coleraine will be well prepared and rested following the enforced postponement of last weekend's entire Premiership fixture list and The Blues now head into the busy festive period holding a 7 point lead over a tightly congested chasing pack.
David Healy’s side will look to give the home supporters an early Christmas present of 3 more valuable points.
