RECENT EVENTS.
QUIZ NIGHT.
Twenty five teams recently participated in a very competitive quiz held at Jumna Street Social Club. The participants included a number of Linfield players and staff.
After seven rounds of questions, a tie breaker was required with the team ‘Hec’s Heros’ being declared the eventual winners to lift the prestigious trophy. Genuine commiserations to ‘Big Willy and The Boys’ who were pipped at the post.
Massive thanks to Charlie Butler and the staff of Jumna Street Social Club for hosting the event so successfully and to Jumna Street Blues for presenting Matthew with a very generous donation.
Thanks to quiz master Peter Mullan who conducted the quiz with such professionalism and humor and to all who attended and contributed in making the event such an enjoyable and successful evening.
MONKSTOWN TRUE BLUES.
The above supporters club recently celebrated Matthew’s testimonial season with an evening of entertainment held at Monkstown Social Club. The large crowd were entertained by ‘The Untouchables’ and Monkstown True Blues club officials presented Matthew with a very substantial donation.
