Ryan McConville has wasted no time adding to his Linfield coaching team and backroom staff for our 2024 Sports Direct Women’s Premiership campaign.
Adam Carson will take up the role of performance coach. Having been at the club as 1st Team analyst Adam takes the step up this year to work individually with players. Darren Bell returns to the club as Goalkeeper Coach, having worked with Ryan at his previous club Lisburn Ladies and knows our goalkeepers well. Alan Perry will stay in his role of kit manager.
James Feehan has been appointed as Chief Scout bringing a wealth of experience, knowledge, and contacts to the club. He is a former league winning Newry City member of staff and instrumental in the signings of Alex Clarke and Grace Murray.
James Bell will stay as Women’s Chaplin. James has been around the club for a long time and is the father of players Megan, now at Rangers and U19 player Laurie. Sam Johnston will remain as the Women’s Social Media and Digital Content creator.
Ryan had this to say on his appointments, “I am delighted to have everyone on board. Adam is a young coach with a desire to progress to the highest levels. I have met with him multiple times and I have been really impressed.”
“James is someone I know well, and I would trust with my life. His role is very important in helping secure players signatures. I am also delighted to have James Bell on board. He will bring great support to the players and staff within his remit.”
“I am delighted to have Alan and Sam staying at the club in their roles. Both have worked hard already with our new arrivals and retained players. I am looking forward to working alongside all our staff this coming season.”
“I hope to have a further addition in the next few weeks that would complete my team in preparation for our 2024 campaign.”
