Over the coming weeks Linfield Football Club will prepare to remember all of those who lost their lives in various conflicts, including our own former players who made the ultimate sacrifice in two World Wars.

On Saturday 26th October a short Service of Remembrance will be held at the Linfield Memorial in the club offices at Windsor Park. This will
commence at 1.30pm and the service will be led by Academy Coach Johnny Jamison with other club officials participating, including the Chaplain Paul Reid. Individual supporters and supporters clubs are welcome to attend and pay their own tributes. The service will conclude at 2.00pm ahead of our Premiership fixture against Cliftonville.

On Saturday 9th November, the first team players will wear poppies on their jerseys as a tribute to the Fallen. A short Act of Remembrance will be held before the kick-off in the game against Ballymena United with local members of the Royal British Legion and a piper in attendance. A collection will also be held before the game in support of the Poppy Appeal.
