Linfield are delighted to announce the signing of English defender Sam Roscoe from Altrincham FC on undisclosed terms.

Sam is no stranger to Windsor Park having already spent two seasons at the club in a spell which included an Irish Premiership title and BetMcLean Cup win.

Sam joins the club again following a season back across the water with English National League side Altrincham Football Club.

Manager David Healy commented on bringing Sam Roscoe back to the club:

"We're delighted to once again welcome Sam back to Belfast and Windsor Park. Sam is going to bring more good experience into the dressing room and is a player a lot of our fans and players are familiar with already. He knows what it takes to play for a club like Linfield having won trophies with the club before. A strong defence is critical in the pursuit of trophies and I look forward to seeing Sam back out on the Windsor Park pitch."
