Ballymena United supporter Paul Ross will be selling sky blue ribbon badges at the away turnstiles ahead of tomorrow’s Sports Direct Premiership clash at the Ballymena Showgrounds.
Paul is the father of young Ballymena United supporter, Lydia Ross, who tragically passed away at the end of 2023 after being involved in a car accident. Lydia followed Ballymena up and down the country with her Dad for over six years. Lydia was only 21-years-old at the time of her passing, news that shocked everyone across the Irish League. The following weekend, there were tributes paid at all Premiership matches in her memory.
Lydia wore a sky blue ribbon during the month of May and Paul is selling these badges for a minimum cash donation of £5, with all money raised being donated to the Northern Ireland Air Ambulance.
