BOXING DAY DERBY: LINFIELD V GLENTORAN

Paul Ross will be selling sky blue ribbon badges on Wednesday night before our Champions League Qualifier against Shelbourne.

Paul is the father of young Ballymena United supporter, Lydia Ross, who tragically passed away at the end of 2023 after being involved in a car accident. Lydia followed Ballymena up and down the country with her Dad for over six years. Lydia was only 21-years-old at the time of her passing, news that shocked everyone across the Irish League.

Paul told LinfieldFC.com

“As many of you will know I’ve been selling the Sky Blue Ribbons in memory of Lydia, I’m indebted to the Linfield board for inviting me to sell the ribbons at the home leg against Shelbourne. It’s been an amazing and very humbling experience since we lost Lydia, the Irish League families response to us has given us great strength, I’m looking forward to seeing you all at the game”.

Badges our priced at £5 with all money raised being donated to the Northern Ireland Air Ambulance.
