Linfield are in European action when travelling to Iceland to meet UMF Stjarnan at the Samsung Eastadio Stjornuvoller in the first qualifying round of the UEFA Conference League (8pm k.o.).

The second leg will be played at Windsor Park on Thursday 18th July (7.45pm k.o., all-ticket). 

The winner of the tie will face the winner of the Bala Town FC of Wales v Paide Linnameeskond (Estonia) in the next round of the competition.

Manager David Healy can expect a challenging night for his team against a Stjarnan side who are already well into their own domestic season, currently sitting 6th in the Urvalsdield league table. It promises to be a tight encounter with both managers looking to take a big result into the second leg in Belfast.
