Linfield’s 2017 girls’ team turned in a sensational display at the Orangefield Girls Tournament, going all the way to the final without conceding a single goal on their way to lifting the trophy.

The young Blues were in dominant form throughout the competition, showcasing their talent, teamwork and determination against some strong opposition. Their impressive defensive record was matched by their attacking play, and they capped off a brilliant day with a hard-fought victory over Crusaders in the final to secure the title.

The success is a testament not only to the hard work and commitment of the players but also to the dedication of Coach Sophie, who has been instrumental in their development over the past 18 months. Sophie has played a key role in guiding and inspiring the team, and her influence both on and off the pitch has been invaluable.
