A young Linfield Swifts side travelled to East Belfast FC today in the Steel & Sons Cup.

East Belfast went ahead in the first half but an equaliser in the second half from Zach Anderson tied the game at 1-1, sending it to penalties where Jack Wilkins was the hero making a save in the shoot-out to win it 4-3.

A fantastic result for Michael Gault's side against an experienced East Belfast team.

Linfield penalty takes were Liam Burns, Dane McCullough, Reece Lyttle and Kenzie Beattie.

Well done, Blues!
