As the new season commences, Linfield Swifts have welcomed former Linfield and Northern Ireland international goalkeeper Alan Mannus back to the club as coach for the club’s young goalkeepers.
 
Alan, who won multiple league title medals with both Linfield and Shamrock Rovers, also played in Scotland for St Johnstone and was capped 9 times for his country.
 
Ulster Footballer of the Year in 2008, Alan is fondly remembered by Linfield fans for his performances between the sticks in the 2005/06 Clean Sweep season.
