Before the game with Portadown members of 1st Newtownabbey Linfield Supporters Club presented their Player of the Year trophy for 2024/25 to Matthew Fitzpatrick who celebrated with 2 goals!

The 1st Newtownabbey Linfield Supporters Club Young Player of the Year for 2024/25 was Matthew Orr. In Matthew’s absence his trophy was accepted by Chris Shields.
