Linfield FC are delighted to announce the signing of 20-year-old English winger Sam Taylor from Tranmere Rovers on a season-long loan.

Taylor, who came through the ranks at Tranmere’s academy, is regarded as one of the most promising young attacking talents at the club. Known for his  pace and eye for goal, he made his senior debut for the Rovers in 2023 and has since gained valuable first-team experience in English football.

The Widnes-born wide man is comfortable on either flank and is expected to bring another dynamic to Linfield’s attack.
