Linfield head to North Belfast again to face Cliftonville at Solitude (3pm k.o., all ticket). There will be a live stream of this sold out derby clash on the BBC iPlayer.
In their last outing Cliftonville ended a run of 3 straight League losses with a 1-0 win at Carrick Rangers. The Reds have had a challenging season both on and off the pitch, with the team sitting 10th in the table and the club awaiting the completion of an investment package with a Canadian financial group. Manager Jim Magilton will hope his team can begin to build up some momentum and climb back up the table.
It was honours even between Linfield and Coleraine at The Showgrounds during the week with a point a piece in a hard fought 2-2 draw. It was a game of two halves as The Blues went into the interval break with a well deserved 2-0 lead, only to pegged back in the second half. David Healy will expect another close examination of his side’s title credentials when they cross the line at Solitude in what is always a feisty encounter.
