Linfield are on the road to the North Down coast to face Bangor at Clandeboye Park (3pm k.o.). The teams have already met at this venue this season with Linfield enjoying a 3-0 win.
Bangor have made a solid start to their first season back in the top flight since 2009 and sit 6th in the Sports Direct Premiership table. Manager Lee Feeney, whilst retaining several key performers from last season’s Championship winning side, has added several players with Premiership experience to his squad, including former Blues Mark Haughey and Gareth Deane. One player to watch is striker Ben Arthurs who has found the net 6 times.
Linfield sit 4th in the table and will look to quickly build up some momentum in a stop-start season disrupted by postponed fixtures. Unfortunately David Healy will be without the services of suspended defenders Ethan McGee and Ben Hall, and the Linfield manager will expect a tough game against a well drilled Bangor side at the compact Clandeboye Park stadium.
