All at Linfield Football Club would like to wish Ryan McConville and his Linfield Women’s squad the very best of luck as they take on Cliftonville Ladies in the Women’s Challenge Cup Final at Windsor Park this evening (7.30pm kick-off).
It promises to be a fantastic occasion under the lights at Windsor, as the Blues look to bring the trophy home for the first time since 2016.
McConville’s side have been in superb form throughout the competition, scoring 15 goals on their way to the final. The team overcame Glentoran Women 5-1 in a memorable quarter-final performance, going on to record a dominant 10-0 victory over Larne Women in the semi-final.
After a solid league campaign which saw Linfield finish 3rd in the Women’s Premiership, the players will be aiming to round off their season on a high by lifting silverware tonight. This marks the club’s first appearance in the Women’s Challenge Cup Final since 2019, and the squad will be determined to make it a night to remember for the Blues supporters.
Kick-off is at 7.30pm at Windsor Park, and tickets are still available. Come along, get behind the team, and show your support for the girls!
