“On 29th June 2023, my son Reuben, then aged 4 was diagnosed with Non Hodgkins Lymphona and began treatment at the Royal Victoria Hospital for Sick Children. Thankfully, Reuben is now over a year post treatment. Throughout this treatment, we as a family received some vital support from a couple of amazing charities. We would love to raise some funds to help provide the support we received to other families like ours.

The Challenge:

In April, myself and Reuben’s uncle Jake will be taking on the mammoth challenge of speed sitting in every seat at Windsor Park Stadium, the home of Northern Ireland’s national team and Linfield FC. How many seats you ask? 18,000…in just one single day!

The Charities:

We’ll be raising money for two incredible charities who provide support to children and their families who are affected by Cancer. These Charities are Young Lives vs Cancer & Cancer Fund for Children.

While Reuben was undergoing and recovering from treatment, Young Lives vs Cancer provided us with accommodation at Paul’s House in Belfast, which enabled us as a family to stay close to Reuben whilst he received treatment at the Royal Hospital.

Cancer Fund for Children provided practical and therapeutic support both on the ward and by allowing us to stay at the wonderful Daisy’s Lodge in Newcastle.

Please join me in helping both Young Lives vs Cancer & Cancer Fund for Children support more families likes ours.

Thank you!

Jonathan”
