It’s a quick return to action for Linfield, facing derby rivals Glentoran at Windsor Park (1pm k.o. all-ticket).

Glentoran come to Windsor on the back of a 2-1 home win over Coleraine, moving 2 points clear in the battle for an automatic European qualification slot in the UEFA Conference League. With the remainder of their fixtures away from home, Manager Declan Devine will be looking to build up some momentum in this demanding run-in.

There was a real feel-good factor around Windsor Park in midweek with a 3-1 win over a robust Crusaders side. The champions were fast out of the traps as Robbie McDaid marked his return from injury with a goal inside 2 minutes, and second half strikes from Matthew Fitzpatrick and Kieran Offord sealed the deal for a fourth win on the bounce for The Blues.

It promises to be a great day at Windsor Park with the presentation of the Gibson Cup following another highly anticipated game. David Healy’s men will be determined to put a glossy finish on the day with a match winning performance in the final ‘Big Two’ clash of the season.
