Linfield Football Club are delighted to announce that winger Kirk Millar has signed a new two-year contract extension with the club.
The new deal will see Millar remain at Windsor Park until the end of the 2027/28 season, taking him into his 14th year with the Blues and extending what has already been a remarkable Linfield career.
Currently enjoying his testimonial year, Kirk has been an ever-present figure in Linfield’s success over the past decade, contributing countless record-breaking assists, vital goals, and memorable moments that have helped secure multiple league titles and cup triumphs. His quality and dedication to the club have made him a fan favourite and a respected figure both on and off the pitch.
Speaking after signing his new deal, Kirk said:
“I’m over the moon to extend my stay at Linfield. This club means a lot to me, it’s been a huge part of my life for so many years. I’ve loved every minute of representing Linfield, and I’m as hungry as ever to keep contributing and helping the team achieve more success in the years ahead.”
Linfield manager David Healy also expressed his delight at securing Millar’s services for the long term:
“Kirk has been an outstanding servant to Linfield and continues to be a key part of what we do. His professionalism, quality, and attitude are first-class, and he’s someone the younger players really look up to. To reach 14 years at a club of this size is a special achievement, and it speaks volumes about his commitment and love for Linfield. We’re absolutely thrilled to have him extend his time with us.”
Healy also thanked Willie McKeown for his ongoing support and assistance with player negotiations.
Millar’s new contract ensures that one of Linfield’s most loyal and consistent performers will continue to play a leading role at Windsor Park as the club pushes for further silverware in the seasons to come.
