As the 2025 season is fast approaching Linfield FC Women have today provided the following update on their playing squad ahead of their campaign.

The following players have agreed to re-sign ahead of the 2025 campaign, Lauren Currie, Jane McMaster, Abi Sweetlove, Ashley Hutton, Mia Fitzsimmons, Zoe McGlynn, Cora Chambers, Rebecca Bassett, Sienna Leckey, Keri Halliday, Eva Myles, Rhyleigh Marks, Zoe Knox, Alex Clarke, Ellen Hampton, Rhianna Breen, Jen McDade and Eve Reilly.

Manager Ryan McConville has also further strengthened his squad securing the signing of 2024 league winner Hannah Doherty from Cliftonville, Goalkeeper Caoimhe Magee from Shelbourne along with the arrival of Republic of Ireland under 19 international Keri Loughrey from League of Ireland side Sligo Rovers.

We are also delighted to confirm the following players have stepped up into the first team squad from the Swifts and U17 for the 2025 season, Charlotte Havern, Abbie Smyth, Marijana Karrabecaj, Tara Kerr, Ellie McLarnon and Isla Mitchell.

The coaching staff for the 2025 will remain the same with Ryan McConville remaining as manager where he will be assisted by Adam Carson, Ali Smyth, Sarah Venney, Alan Perry, Darren Bell and Scott Nesbitt. Gemma Agnew will remain the team’s physio and James Bell the team Chaplin. We can also confirm James Bell has also brought in former player Rachel Kerr to support him in this role.

We can confirm the following players have departed the club ahead of the upcoming campaign, Nicole Adams, Eva-Leanne Thomas, Anastaija Stanyte, Sophie Gargan, Rhianna Murphy and Melissa Harshaw.

The Blues kick off their season in V-Bet League Cup action away to Lisburn Ladies on Friday 11th April at the Bluebell Stadium, Ballymacash.
